Fund Transfer
Registry owners may convert any gift order containing a third-party product or Experience to PayPal funds at any time. This transfer is initiated on a per order basis from the Gifts page within their registry.
These funds will be sent to the PayPal account / email address entered on their Settings & Design page. Your PayPal address is the email address on your PayPal account. You can double-check the address by logging in to your PayPal account and going to your Profile, and then Add or Edit Email.
All PayPal accounts must be associated with a personal, US-based PayPal account. We are unable to initiate transfers to business or international accounts.
Please confirm that the address is accurate, as Over The Moon is not liable for PayPal email addresses that are entered incorrectly. PayPal is a third party payment processor and Over The Moon is not responsible or liable for any actions or omissions by PayPal. To receive PayPal funds, you will elect to transfer on a per order basis. Once requested individually by order, the funds will tally in your registry bank until you initiate the transfer to PayPal. Though often sooner, please allow 3-5 business days for this process to complete. Once the process is completed, the money will appear in your PayPal balance and you will be able to use those funds to purchase gifts from a third-party retailer’s site or use toward the Experience of your choosing. Record of these transactions will be available for reference on your Gifts page under the View Funds section.
Every time a guest purchases a gift, we will notify you via email and it will be presented on your gifts page for the opportunity to transfer to funds.
