How Will I Receive My Gifts?

Every time a guest purchases a gift, we will notify you via email and it will be presented on your gifts page. Depending on your overbuying preferences, we will mark what guests have purchased by showing total quantity received or what has been fully “Purchased” and is no longer listed.

Gifts added directly from the Over The Moon website will ship immediately upon purchase. If you would like to control exactly when your gifts ship, you can turn off the auto-ship feature on the settings page within your registry portal. If auto-ship is turned off, gifts added from Over The Moon are able to be fulfilled or converted to store credit.

Gifts that were added from a third-party retailer via the OTM Bookmarklet Tool and purchased by guests on Over The Moon will be available to be converted to OTM store credit or PayPal funds. These gifts cannot be fulfilled directly from the Over The Moon site.

If you request store credit for a gift, the total will continue to tally until you are ready to redeem and use your gift card. Once redeemed, we will email you a gift card code that you can use on overthemoon.com whenever. These codes will be available for reference on your Gifts page under the store credit section.

For PayPal funds, you will elect to transfer on a per order basis. Once requested individually by order, the funds will tally in your registry bank until you initiate the transfer to PayPal. Though often sooner, please allow 3-5 business days for this process to complete. Once the process is completed, the money will appear in your PayPal balance and you will be able to use those funds to purchase gifts from a third-party retailer’s site or use toward the Experience of your choosing. Record of these transactions will be available for reference on your Gifts page under the View Funds section.
